After spending the last 10 years in Florida, we moved back to Kentucky in 2012. Jorge and I were married in November 2002. We have two sons of whom we are very proud, one wonderful daughter-in-law, and the world's most beautiful grandchildren!
For the past two years, I have authored a food and book blog titled "The Self-Taught Cook", Along with recipes, my blog includes cookbook and book reviews. My blog is also posted to Facebook, Networked Blogs and to Twitter. I also post book reviews to GOODREADS, BARNES & NOBLE, Book Depository and AMAZON. An avid reader, I enjoy reading and reviewing biographies, historical nonfiction, and mysteries, and as a food blogger, cookbooks depicting various cuisines are a must.
