Reader Review . . .
Betsy Livingston, author of The Happy Hinter blog and column for the Pecan Bayou Gazette, has been included in an authors' presentation at the local library. She has already had a very public fracas with one of the authors, and when there is a murder at the library, Betsy is the prime suspect. It is up to her, along with her father, to clear her name.
Teresa Trent has written another wonderfully cozy mystery set in Pecan Bayou, one of those quaint small towns so popular in fiction. Betsy, a single mom raising her son alone and just beginning to date, is a likeable character that many readers will find familiar. Reading these books is like a visit with a good friend; a good friend whose cake fiasco was laugh-out-loud familiar to this blogger.
