A Sneak Peek Into Angelguard…
Within a period of weeks, three horrific bomb blasts devastate areas of London, Los Angeles and Sydney. No explanation is offered, no victory claimed for these acts of terror. Yet behind the scenes a Machiavellian European businessman is planning to bring the G8 nations to their knees for his own larcenous purposes, aided by the dark forces to whom he has sold his soul. Jack Haines, an Australian academic, is grieving the loss of wife and children in the Sydney blast. Against his will he finds himself thrown into a war that transcends the physical world, a conflict in which angelic guards have a special mission for him. This is a gripping novel of the unseen forces that throng our world.

Reader review . . .
The world watches in horror as bombs explode in Sydney, London, and Los Angeles. Countless lives are lost, and no one knows why. Jack Haines and Thierry Le Bon were both victims of the blasts; both were injured and both lost family members. They join forces to uncover the masterminds of this terrible plot and bring their reign of terror to an end. Meanwhile, this is more than physical warfare, as angels and demons wage a spiritual battle unseen by the humans.
Fantasy novels are hot right now. The premise of angels vs. demons is a very popular theme, and it is not limited to Christian fiction. This novel, however, is Christian fiction, so fans of Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti will want to check this out.
The action never stops throughout the storyline. This is a clear-cut "good vs. evil" theme in both the natural and supernatural realm. The humans on the side of good are constantly in peril while searching for answers, and the battles between the angels and demons never stop.
One small drawback: there were so many characters I had trouble keeping track. Occasionally, I got lost and had to reread a page. However, don't let that stop you from picking up a copy. It is an exciting read, and sure to be a bestseller. As this is the author's first novel, I look forward to his future work.
