Everyone has had one of those days. You worked all day, picked up the kids, took them all the places they needed to go, ran errands, and you still need to get some sort of dinner on the table. Who has time for all those elaborate recipes? They look great, they're impressive, but quite often, they're time consuming, and if you had all that time, we wouldn't be having this conversation, now would we? And that is where this recipe comes in. It's quick and easy, and personally, I think it tastes good. I haven't had any complaints, and no one has died yet, so that makes it a keeper.
BUSY NIGHT SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 lb ground beef
1/4 c green bell pepper, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
1 packet Goya Sazón with Coriander and Annatto
2 c prepared spaghetti sauce
Brown ground beef with onion, pepper, and garlic. Stir in Sazón and parsley. Drain grease from beef mixture. Add spaghetti sauce; cook, stirring frequently, until heated through. Serve over spaghetti; top with shredded cheddar and parmesan, if desired.
When I said prepared spaghetti sauce, I meant just that. Whatever sauce you have on hand is fine with me. If you are the industrious type who cans or freezes sauce during the summer when the tomatoes are in, use that. If you were busy then too, just buy a jar. Name brand, store brand, whatever works for you. Serve with a tossed salad and garlic bread and you've got yourself a meal.
