I know you think it's summer down here in Florida, and who eats hot soup in the summer?, but as I've explained before, I like soup any time.  Besides, thanks to Tropical Storm Debby, we've had nothing but rainy, dreary days lately and even though the air conditioner is on, it looks like soup weather.  So, here is yet another one of my variations on Vegetable Beef Soup.

1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
1/2 tsp Adobo
1- 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 1/4 c frozen corn
1 can green beans, drained
1 can hominy, drained
1 can chick peas, drained
1 1/4 c beef broth
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp molasses

Brown meat with garlic, onion,  and Adobo; drain.  Add remaining ingredients.  Bring to a boil.  Lower heat; cover and let simmer at least 30 minutes.
